Bishop Clardy began preaching at a very early age (like 9) and is anointed of God as he brings for the Word of God. Bishop Clardy is the Church of God in Indiana’s State Administrative Bishop. PRAYER 6:2  We will come together Tuesday, May 28th @ 6 pm to lift those in our church body up in prayer. We want to adhere to scripture in Galatians 6:2 and “bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

SPARK (Spiritual People After the Righteous Kingdom) WIDOWS/WIDOWERS LUNCH Friday, May 17th at NOON, ALL those who have lost a spouse are encouraged to come out for a delicious home-cooked meal, devotion, great fellowship, and fun! This is a great opportunity to bring someone with you that may have experienced a loss and need encouraged. This always proves to be an uplifting and encouraging time together! It’s also nice to get to know one another better – “oh the stories we’ve heard.”  Please sign up at the welcome center NO LATER than Sunday, May 12th so we can prepare.

MOTHER'S DAY DINNER

MOTHER’S DAY DINNER! Tuesday, May 7th we will celebrate all moms in the fellowship hall from 6pm-8pm with a baked potato & salad bar, desserts, devotion, and many door prizes! You won’t want to miss this “NO COST TO YOU” special night as we come together and have fun. We ask that you use this as an opportunity to minister by inviting as many friends as possible, along with co-workers, family, and neighbors to join you. The theme is “God’s beautiful Garden.”

You MUST sign up at the welcome center (as well as the number of guests coming with you) by Thursday, May 2nd so we set up enough table settings and prepare enough food. You won’t want to miss this great night with your sisters in Christ and our friends.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY

NURSING HOME MINISTRY:   If you enjoy the old hymns, we have an opportunity for you! Pastor will be ministering at two local nursing homes on Sunday, May 5th.  We would welcome help singing hymns for these services.  We start at Lifecare Center at 1:30pm, so please be there around twenty after to mark your places in the hymnal. The service for Hickory Creek Nursing Home begins at approximately 2:15pm.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER: Thursday, May 2nd is National Day of Prayer around the courthouse. Everyone is encouraged to attend at least one of the prayer times as we come together in unity as the Body of Christ and pray for our leaders, community, schools, state, and nation.  Prayer times are NOON and 7PM.

BAPTISM MEETING

BAPTISM MEETING Saturday, May 18th at 9am. Baptism is following the example of Jesus as John the Baptist fully immersed Jesus in baptism in the Jordan River. If you have never been baptized and want to make  a public declaration that you have surrendered to Christ and are living for HIM, you will want to be at this meeting.  If you would like to know more about baptism and why it is so important, PLEASE be at this meeting! If you were baptized but want to renew your public confession, please be at this meeting. Pastor will be going over details, scripture, answer any questions you may have and give instruction for this very special event that is scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd.
